Spanish artist Lorenzo Duran uses leaves as the canvas for his cutaway art. After washing and drying the leaf, he carefully cuts away segments in a technique akin to those of traditional Spanish picado, Chinese Jianzhi, German scherenscnitte, or Swiss papercutting.
